Jenny's 10km fundraising run

Congratulations to our Director Jenny Irish who ran her first ever 10k in Victoria Park on Sunday 10th November to raise a whopping £1,055 for Palace Acappella choir's fundraiser for the Upper Norwood Library Hub. 

“Thank you to everyone who sponsored me to run my first ever 10k! I’m elated to have managed this as it felt such a long way at the start of my training. It was a fantastic event, cheered on by my family it made me reflect along the way how important a community space the Upper Norwood Library Hub is, bringing people together, strengthening community connections, building skills and opportunities for the future – it truly is a wonderful organisation to be part of.”

UNLH Trustee Katie Finn is challenging herself to walk three marathons in a month to raise money for the fundraiser. Good luck, Katie!
